I’m Leyre! I’ve been working as a professional photographer for the past nine years. Born and raised in Madrid, I know every corner of the city like the back of my hand.

I specialize in couple and family sessions in Madrid, though I’ve also lived in amazing places like NYC, London, Rome, Venice and Los Angeles.

I love capturing family moments. Time flies, and photos are the only way to freeze those precious memories. Especially when you have little ones, I truly believe it’s important to take beautiful photos every year. They grow up so fast, and before you know it, they’re thinking about college or going on their first date!

Common questions

Important information

– Families with more than 6 people will have to pay an extra of 60€

 

– Professionally edited high-resolution JPEG images 

 

– 9 to 14 days turnaround time. The pics will be delivered via WeTransfer or Dropbox

 

– You will have the printing rights

 

– Transportation costs between locations are not included

 

– For an additional 70€, you will receive the full gallery 24 hours after the session

 

– Extra edited photos: 5 USD per unit (you will have a discount if you get more than 20 extra photos)

 

– If we do the photoshoot at sunrise, there will be an additional value of 50€

How can I book a session with you?

Just send me an email or fill in the contact form. I’ll reply within 24 hours. Let me know your availability, favorite package, ideas and locations. I can suggest the best locations and give you some tips for the session. I’ll recommend a specific time to do the session  depending on the season, crowds, ligth, weather…).

 

To book the date and times you will need to send a deposit of 40% via PayPal, Wise, Zelle (US), Bizum (only in Spain) or a bank transfer in Europe or the UK to book the date. The remaining amount could be paid at the end of the photoshoot in cash/those payment methods.

Can I choose the locations? How many?

Absolutely! You can decide the locations to do the session, just keep in mind the time of the chosen package. For example, if you book a 30 min-package, you should select only one location because we won’t have much time together. For example, Gran Via street or Plaza de Oriente.

If you choose 1 hour, it ‘s possible to combine different viewpoints in the same location like Retiro Park or Gran Via/Cibeles or 2 locations close to each other like Retiro Park + Puerta de Alcala or Gran Via + Plaza Mayor or Templo de Debod + Palacio Real

If you want + 90 min we can go to more places! We could walk between locations or just take an Uber/Metro.

Also, the more time we have, the more photos I will take and therefore, the more photos you will receive!

We can create a route with your favorite places when you book the date. I will help you with everything!

But we are a camera-shy couple!

It’s completely normal to feel intimidated. Many couples have told me before a photoshoot that it will be impossible for them to be natural in front of the camera. However, my work is to create a suitable atmosphere for spontaneity to emerge.

After the first stressful minutes, couples leave behind the initial stiffness and focus on each other, sometimes almost forgetting I’m still there taking pictures. I would really like to encourage camera-shy couples to try a photo-shoot – it’s, by far, not that bad!

What happens if it rains the day of the session?

In this case we can go two ways:

We can reschedule the session or we can proceed with the photoshoot, shooting at some great locations that are also covered.

At the same time, some light rain or showers here and there can sometimes be the good excuse for an empty Madrid.
Also, it’s easy to find some covered alleys, galleries, passages, etc. in Madrid. And what is more romantic than a couple under an umbrella !

Can I use the photos the way I want?

Of course ! Watch. Share. Print. Everything you’d like, you own your photos !
The only exception would be for ads and commercials, this would require our agreement with a copyright release.
